Home in the Country

homeinthecountryblog

18 x 14”

All the celebrating has calmed down round here now, Birthday cake eaten, kitchen organised (mostly lol) and getting back into everyday life.

Last night I sat listening to Eric Clapton on Sky Arts, knitting away my first sock (exciting) and Ellie was snuggled up beside me. Hubby asleep on the chair, I thought to myself how perfect this all was, peaceful and perfect. The only thing missing was a burning fire in the fireplace :D One day my dream will come true.

‘Home in the Country’, peaceful and perfect!

Hi Niki

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog - just been having a little look at yours as it has been ages since I have looked at any of your creations - good to see that you are still painting. You will have to let me know if you plan to be in this area at all and then we can arrange a crafty get together. I still have Sy and Wendy over every 8 weeks but don't have the large craft days like I use to as they are just too much for me especially with work being so crazy at the moment.

I have 'followed' your blog so I will be able to see when you do updates now
