What’s New

I’ve been excited lately! With a new camera I’ve started re-taking the pictures of my shop and wow what a difference. I am really excited that you can now actually see my art more true to life and see the details of them, especially on my originals.

I’m also going through and taking pictures of my prints so you can see the quality of them and the detail that is presented in them rather than the digital image before.

So I’m working my way through all the pictures a bit at a time, please check them out.

I’ve also added 3 new postcard sets, including the one above, just in time for Valentines day.

My new book is well under way, the story is written and I’m working on editing and doing the paintings for it. If you’d like to follow along please sign up to my email list, making sure to check the box marked ‘originals’. I send an email about once per week with a painting and a snippet of story. You can find the sign up box here ------------------------------>

So there is a lot going on and more besides but it’s all fun! I hope you’ll stop by my Etsy shop and I’ll be back next week with more to share.

Blessings

Cheesy I know, but aren’t they cute!! ‘Squeak Hearts’

This one has a little story behind it, see listing for more details

I’m really enjoying working on these ACEO’s, it’s great whilst I wait for my studio to be finished.

People are trying to guess the colour that I’m painting my studio, lol do you have a guess?

Happy New year!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year’s Eve? We spent Christmas with family and New Year’s snuggled up watching movies, so all in all a great time.

I’ve been thinking how I want to take my art this year and am still working on some new ideas, in the meantime I have three new cards sets available for you. These are one off sets so only one of each set available.

These are all available in the shop right now: http://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageNiki?section_id=10338862

Here’s to a great New Year for all!

Love is in the Air

I am having great fun experimenting on different surfaces and lately I’ve been painting on hardboard. It’s great, and I can see me using it quite often from now on.

I’ve decided to get back on ebay regularly and so have some paintings listed including the above ‘Love is in the Air’. I’m hoping to add new paintings every week from now on and I’ll be continuing to update my other stores. To keep up to date with all my new offerings come and join my fan page at Facebook, that way you won’t miss a thing :)

Have a wonderful weekend!
