Well, it’s Winter now at ‘Wild Flower Cottage’, the flowers have all died back and the hill was looking really bare, so what could we do but build a snowman!

Country Kitchen Art

When my customer contacted me about my paintings and said how wonderful my art looked in her kitchen I couldn’t wait to see the pictures.

Well, I just about jumped up and down when I saw them, how stunning is her kitchen and check out my paintings. They look so at home in her kitchen and it’s just wonderful to see them in a country style decor environment.

So good to see where my art in hanging up in people’s homes, what a joy!!

Stormy Skies

I was out walking Ellie early this morning (well early for me ) and in the distance there is this beautiful farm near our home. I have painted it before and just love it.

Well today it’s been so changeable in the weather and over the hills I could see this great big grey cloud just hovering over the farm. It looked so wonderful I just had to capture it in paint.

This is part of a new series of little paintings available at a lower price for those on a tight budget but looking for great art for their home.

Rainbows

We’ve had some pretty weird weather here lately. Yesterday we had some mild storms, lot’s of lovely rain and then the sun was out and the rain came down, but where was the rainbow? I couldn’t see it from my house.

I was thinking, I don’t often see them but when I do wow do they blow me away. We once saw a double rainbow when we were walking Ellie, wish I’d had my camera with me.

This little painting ‘Rainbow Cottage’ was inspired by my love of country and rainbows!

Lot’s of sparkle on this one, you know I just couldn’t resist :)
