Whimsical Drawings…

autumnleavesfront

I’ve always been passionate about drawing. Since I was a little girl and would sit for hours working on a drawing. As I grew up fears crept in and I ended up putting it aside for many years. Once I started up painting in 2008 I got back to drawing and haven’t looked back since.

Just lately, I’ve been doing a lot more sketching for ‘The Journal Project’ and sketching at Church too. So I decided to start offering my drawings in my shop for you, a whimsical treat to adorn your walls which is something different from my paintings Smile

This was so much fun to work on and very calming.

Your sketches are so sweet and really have a homey, wistful, 'vintage' feel to them. Lovely.

I used to draw everything! When I was little I would check books out of the library just for the illustrations. I don't think I ever read the books.

I've always loved your paintings, Niki, ever since I first discovered them on etsy while looking for castteam-ers work to feature on my recipe of the month posts. I had to stop myself from featuring your work every month and give others a chance to be featured too. But I was sorely tempted....
