Well I had a fab birthday yesterday! Thank you all for the lovely messages.
As promised here are the pictures of our new trees we planted at the weekend.
This one is the Braeburn apple tree…
This is the Crab apple tree…
and yesterday I got given a lovely climbing rose, which I will be growing up the side of our new fence next to our veggie patch.
Going to plant that later today It’s all coming along nicely, which is very exciting considering the garden used to look like this when we moved in…
Yep all paving slabs, the whole lot!
You can see more progress pics here.
Have a great rest of the week,

Your garden is coming along beautifully! And 'Happy Birthday', glad you had a good one :)
Niki, it is looking lovely -- much better than paving slabs. Happy Birthday, too! ~ Sara
I have yet to get to my gardens...too cold and damp here! Yay! for your progress. Happy belated Birthday!
Wow, looks great. What hard workers you are. I love roses.
That's gonna be SO nice when everything is growing and in bloom!
Can't wait to do some planting in my flower bed...still a little too chilly...soon, very soon!
Niki, love seeing all the progress you are making on your garden. You can always paint or stencil those paving stones to add some bright spots of whimsy in your garden :-) Looking forward to seeing tha rose in bloom.
It's going to be wonder when mature and in full bloom........
just beautiful!! It sure has come a long way. Can't wait to see the continued growth and the roses in full bloom! how exciting! :)
Great post! You've done a lot of work transforming this area to a garden! I love Braeburn apples and crab apple jelly. The Parade climbing rose will be a real standout.
So exciting!!!
Beautiful pictures, it's going to be glorious!
