Ripple Blanket

bedroomblanket1

Remember I started a ripple blanket for our bedroom? I started it about three times I think lol but I finally got the colours right for what I wanted and here it is!

I’m pretty slow at crochet and knitting projects because I like to dip in and out rather than work on it everyday. So I think this project is going to take a very long time. Still I love it and because it’s striping it’s really enjoyable challenging myself to get to the next colour.

I’m just finishing up the raspberry row and then will go onto the last colour, the baby pink. So pretty! Then it’s back to the baby blue. It’s going to be gorgeous when complete.

We are almost done decorating the bedroom now, just some finishing touches to do then I’ll take more pics to show you.

What are you crocheting or knitting right now?

I am knitting a green scarf from alpaca, it is beautiful! But it puts me to sleep.

That sounds lovely Hannah, is that because it's warm and snuggly? xx

So pretty, Niki! I love the colors and the ripple. I am learning a new crochet stitch that my sister says sounds like an afghan stitch but the tutorial says it is Tunisian crochet....and at the moment I am making a washcloth with it.

Thank you all.

Zuda, that sounds interesting I've not heard of that before x

You crochet and knit as well?!
I started knitting a vest ages ago. It's downstairs in a box. I think I've given up. My sister in law made me a special pattern, so I feel guilty to throw it out and to give up though.
I love the colours!
