Yay for Spring!

Well it’s officially Spring hooray! The last couple of days have been gorgeous weather. Warm enough to sit out and enjoy. I love this time of year, it’s so inspiring for me with all the colour, the blue skies and planting of new flowers.

This year we are planting fruit and veggies, I will take some pics to show you later on. We now have raspberries planted and will have runner beans and salad leaves going in next month along with wildflowers and sweet peas. Very exciting! Monday I sowed lot’s of marigold and cosmos seeds that I had collected from last years plants so I can’t wait to see them come up.

And in other news I will be at St Johns Church Hall, Cauldwell Hall road, Ipswich (UK) tomorrow night 22nd March from 7-9pm for a Ladies Pamper and Craft evening. There will be various stalls along with mine and the opportunity for some pampering. The evening is being hosted to raise money for Samaritan’s Purse, admission is £4 inc. glass of wine and nibbles, tickets are available from Kathy Dines: 07980705309

Exhibition Excitement

Well the last week since being back from France has been crazy busy with preparations for two exhibitions I’m in locally.

The first is going on all through this week at St Mary’s Church, Hadleigh. It ends on my birthday Saturday 1st May. ;) (It’s a big birthday this year)

The above painting is a peek at what I’ve got entered, this is ‘Home in the Country’ on deep edge canvas, plenty of texture on this one.

Not the best pic of this one, it’s called ‘Sweet Hearts’ and it’s 20 x 20” deep edge canvas, another textured painting with lot’s of cute thrown in.

I’ve got one other large painting and five prints too so watch this space for more info on those, including news about when I will be releasing prints in my Etsy store.

The second exhibition starts this weekend and is a holiday weekend one at St Augustine’s Church, Ipswich. I have six paintings entered for that so it’s all very exciting around here :D

A Very Special Day!

Helen Bates, Niki Jackson, Mark Jackson.

I’ve been trying to get this up all week lol, on Saturday 21st November, Mark (Hubby) and I, along with our dear friend Helen, got Baptised at St Andrews Church in Ipswich, UK.

It was an amazing day and I just wanted to share part of it with you. We have had an amazing 1st year as Christians and am very excited for the future.
