A lot of cake!

It’s been a weekend of celebrations…firstly it was Hubby’s Birthday on Saturday, we had a BBQ party and enjoyed the England game and then it was the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations running right through till yesterday evening.

There’s been a lot of yummy cake, desserts and naughty things to eat which I have totally enjoyed lol

To continue the theme of cake, I’ve added this cute little illustration as an ACEO print in the shop.

Blossom Kisses Re-visited

Remember this painting I did last year? {original is sold}

It was inspired by this beautiful tree I had seen whilst walking Ellie near the park. It was so full of pink blossom it looked amazing. I forgot to take a photo of it at the time but the other day I saw it again in full bloom and just had to take a pic to show you. It’s fun to see where inspiration comes from, so I thought you’d enjoy this.

The tree is huge!! I’ve never seen so many blossoms on one tree. I hope ours gets like this some day. We only planted it last year so this years show was pretty poor. Hoping for a better one next year.

Etsy Shop Update Today + Giveaway

 

Today is another ‘Blue Sky’ day which always makes me happy but to make the day even better we now have hot water yay! Oh what a delight it is to be able to have hot baths again in my own house that is lol You don’t realise how much things like that mean to you until you haven’t got them!

Also on the ‘Blue Sky’ theme of the day, I’ve just updated my Etsy shop with five new prints from my new series. I’m currently selling my originals on ebay so if you missed out here’s your chance to buy a print of them, each come matted making them extra special.

Sun, Sea and Great Company...

Sizewell Hall overlooking the sea.

We are back from a wonderful weekend away at Sizewell Hall with our Church. It was amazing and it was so great to get to know people more. I was amazed at how close to the sea we were, the view was breath taking.

I'm back refreshed and ready to create lot's more wonderful paintings for you!

In that spirit I am pleased to announce I  have added new prints to my shop and it is with great pleasure that the 'Glo Cakes' painting for Ange's Shop 4 a cause will now have a new home in the USA!  To continue fund raising for The Canadian Cancer Society I am offering 'Glo Cakes' as a print and 10% of each one sold will go to this great cause.

Oh so cute!

Today has been great! Waking up to an empty schedule for once and being able to take it easy and do whatever my heart desired! So I took advantage of the peace and quiet and got out my sketchbook and sketched out several new cuties to paint this week yay! Hubby has been busy working in the back garden creating our new patio.

I'm looking forward to a lovely evening in with possibly some knitting and some fun tv!
