Time seems to fly in between blog posts, before I know it a week has gone by!

I’ve been painting my heart out with Wintery inspired paintings, I still have more ideas and I wonder just how many paintings of Winter you actually want to be seeing lol :D

The above painting has come about through my Faith. We all want to feel safe, it’s something in our hearts that yearns to be satisfied. We try everything we can think of (chocolate, shopping, etc etc) to divert our attention, but really all we want is to be loved, accepted and to feel safe.

New prints!

I’ve been busy updating the shop and added four of your favourites as new prints! They come matted but you can request no matt if preferred.

I’ll be adding more prints in the coming days and keep looking out here on the blog or sign up to my newsletter for my original paintings which I now offer directly. BINGO!

My dear friend Sherry recently sent me some old bingo cards. At first I didn’t know what I would make with them..but then..BINGO ;) I thought ‘let’s try painting on them’. So I sanded the front gently and then got to painting and look what came about!

‘Love Thy Neighbour’, isn’t it cute!! I am so pleased with this little treasure.

The bingo cards are really sturdy so you can display them just as they are on a mantel or shelf, or you can frame them.

This little one and others to come are now available on ebay.

The Big 30 + A New Painting!

On Saturday it was the Big Day! The day I turned 30. The start of a new decade, boy that sounds scary :0 Still I’m sure God has great things in store for us so I won’t complain.

I had a lovely huge cake which Mum in Law made (Thank you!) and it took me quite a while to blow out all those candles lol

Thankfully the rain held off till later on so we were able to enjoy a lovely BBQ with family and friends. A very blessed day all round.

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes on Facebook, I was so surprised to see so many :D

‘Sweet Hearts’ A cute little painting on wood, with a touch of vintage. I used vintage style collage papers to make the flowers and finished it off with some glitter (of course ;) ) and an antique wash. Ahh love, makes the world a much better place don’t you think?

The outpouring of love shown to me over the weekend really touched my heart, it’s wonderful to know so many people care. Sometimes we think that ‘we aren’t enough’ or ‘nobody cares’ and it’s hard to dig ourselves out of that pit. I’ve fallen in many times and probably will again and again, but I know that people around me love me and that they are always there to give me a hand up and a lovely warm hug.
